Unexpected Wedding Trend On 2016

It’s already in the middle of the year and the trend is growing very
unexpectedly! What we don’t count as trend is showing up as a beautiful trend
that we couldn’t miss out! If the color pantone of the year is not your type,
maybe these trends could be your option for your wedding day! Sssst, as they
become the unexpected trends for this year, you can take them to make your
wedding looks unique, different, yet still shopisticated without being
oldfashioned!
1. Floral Wall:
Looking for something that will really pop at your wedding? Take a short
cut with a floral wall. Whether constructed out of fresh or paper
flowers, it’ll definitely grab guests’ attention and create a beautiful
photo setting. You can take another alternative
like using them as your backdrop stage, holy matrimony, or you can cover up
your venue with it.
Try something glamor like what Dior did for their show with
many roses in every hue. Or like what they did at
the Cour Carrée du Louvre with lavender in preparation for Dior's spring 2016 show atParis Fashion Week. Just believe
us, it will make your wedding looks glam yet romantic at the same time.
2. No
Flower Weddings:
You may notice a move towards minimal or no flowers this year as weddings
take on a more eco-friendly tone. We’ll definitely be
seeing a lot more greenery! Think about crazy lush green walls, ferns, tropical
palm fronds, leafy wreaths and runners.
While flowers will also be a major
part of a wedding, greenery itself is becoming really popular all on its own. You can bring
the freshness from forest into your wedding. Or something more simple like raw
wedding. Feels kinfolk, anyone?
3. Suspended
Decor:
The sky is the limit as centerpieces are no longer confined to the table.
Look up for suspended decor like green garlands (like-we-already-said-before-about-the-green-wedding,
it’s a hype!), baubles filled with moss for more Chistmas wedding inspired, any
kind of floral chandeliers or maybe you can go with branch and industrial bulb for
rustic vibe.
This kind of decoration will instantly covering your ceilling or
tent and make your wedding look full without being to much.
4. PATTERN!:
In event design, we are seeing a shift toward pattern in
linens, where once we had plain white table cloths as the base of table styling.
From now, expect to see more texture
instead!
Think about raw wooden table tops, gold sequin table cloths, black/navy
white to build a chic atmosphere, or linens dip dyed for a rough and cool ombre
effect. Indeed color has been coming back, but pattern is taking it to the next
level!
5. Bold
Lighting:
When it comes to lighting in 2016, it’s all about being bold. Well, being bold is not alaways
being too much. It’s more into bring something strong and has characteristics.
Whether you make a statement with mix
and match chandelier to create a glam feeling or fill your venue with abudance
of candles and spread the romance everywhere! Lighting is definitely a priority
for a real WOW design.
